Who is eligible for SBI Asha scholarship? How many students get the SBI scholarship?

Introduction : 

SBI has launched one of the biggest free online scholarships for you all, for which you can apply. The scholarship is called the SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025. I call it "one of the biggest" because any college or school student can apply for this scholarship. First, I'll explain the eligibility criteria for this scholarship and who can apply. What will be the application process? What documents will you need? What will be the selection process? In the second part, I'll even show you how to apply, because many students get confused. 

SBI Scholarship 2025 : 

This is where all students in India, regardless of their background, can receive scholarships. This scholarship is launched every year. It was originally launched last year and again this time. However, the eligibility criteria have been expanded slightly this time. Last year, SBI offered scholarships only for school students. 

This time, the SBI Foundation has announced scholarships for both school and college students. School students can apply, including undergraduates, postgraduates, medical students, IITians, IM students, and international students. I'll explain the eligibility criteria for school students. After that, I'll explain which college students can apply. Specifically, it's mentioned that you can apply if you are an Indian National University. If you're in any year between ninth and 12th grade, whether you're in ninth, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade, you can apply. You must have a minimum of 75% marks in your previous year's class.

For example, if you're currently applying in tenth grade, you'll need to apply in ninth grade. You should have a minimum of 75. Secondly, your family income should not be more than 3 lakhs. And here you can get a scholarship amount of up to ₹15,000.  You can also do your own research by going to Google. After that, the second number scholarship is for undergraduate students who are doing a bachelor's degree at this time like BCA, BCom, BTech, no matter which bachelor's degree you are doing, in which year you are, then you can apply for this scholarship. Any year student can apply. Any degree student, just your college should be in the top 300 institutes as per NIRF ranking and your marks should be 75% in the previous academic year and your family income should be less than ₹6 lakh, then you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. If you are selected for this scholarship, then you can get a scholarship of up to ₹75,000. Terms and conditions apply. After that, the next scholarship is for postgraduate students. 

SBI Asha Scholarship 2025 Apply Online : 

If you are from Indian National and Those currently pursuing a postgraduate degree, such as an M.Com., an M.B.A., or an M.Sc., which is a master's degree, you can apply for this scholarship regardless of the year or semester. A minimum of 75 marks is required. The terms and conditions are the same, and the scholarship amount has been slightly increased. Similarly, if you are pursuing a medical degree, such as an MBBS, you can apply for this scholarship. Specifically, students pursuing a degree from any IIT college, a bachelor's degree, or an undergraduate degree, can apply for this scholarship. Those pursuing a master's degree from an IIT , or an M.B.A. from a reputable IIT, can also apply for this scholarship. A scholarship has also been created for international students studying outside India. But this is only for SC and ST students, and everyone can apply for all the scholarships I've mentioned. If we talk about the application process, how do we apply? First, you'll need to fill out an online application form. You'll need to log in here first. After that, you'll need to fill out another application form. SBI Platinum, which I'm currently offering, is free. I'll show you how. After that, you'll need to fill out the online application form. You'll need to upload some documents, accept the terms and conditions, and submit the application.

Regarding documents, here's what you'll need: For academics, if you have any marksheets—10th, 12th, or graduation. If you're a graduate, you'll need to add your 10th, 12th, and postgraduate marksheets. For postgraduates, you'll need your 10th, 12th, and graduation marksheets. For identity proof, you'll need an Aadhaar card. For financial documents, you'll need your current year's fee receipt, which is a college fee receipt. You can provide your own bank account details or your parents ', which will include the scholarship amount. For proof of income, you can submit Form 16 or an income certificate. You'll also need to provide your current year's admission proof. A personal photograph is required, and if a caste certificate is applicable, you can apply. If you're from the general category, you can apply directly. This is the only document required. Speaking of important dates, the last date to apply for the scholarship is November 15th. This means you're on time. You have it, but the suggestion is to apply as soon as possible. Otherwise, you'll miss out many times. Regarding selection, your selection for this scholarship will be based solely on your academics. This means there won't be any exams for the scholarship. Simply fill out this online application form. Based on the details you provide, an initial shortlisting will be conducted. Your children's and family backgrounds will be checked. After that, you may have a telephonic interview. This telephonic interview will only be conducted with the shortlisted candidates . Your documents will then be verified, and you'll be awarded the scholarship. There are other questions in the FAQs. How to apply for this scholarship ?

 Applying is very easy. Simply click on the "Apply Now" button. This will redirect you to the Buddy for Study portal. Create an account there if you don't already have one. You need to click on "Start Application." After creating your account, when you click on "Start Application," this icon will open. First, you need to add some personal details. Then, in "Education Details," you need to add your 10th-grade marks, the college, school, and year of your 10th grade. You need to add all these details. You need to add the same details for your 12th grade: which school you completed your 12th from, how many marks you got, whether you completed it under a CBSE board, or which board you did it in. Then, your roll number, etc. In "Graduation," you need to indicate your current degree. All degrees are listed here. You can mention your current degree. And for graduation, how old is your graduation degree? Which college are you from? Are you pursuing a government or private college? You need to answer all these questions. After that, a "Family Members" option will appear, where you need to add details of your earning family members.

If your father or others are employed, you can add their details. Next, there's a "Documents" option. I've already shown you the documents under "Documents. " Please provide all the documents you need. Prepare your documents and submit them directly here. You can then provide references from your college or school teachers under "References." You can add your own bank details or your parents' bank details under "Bank Details." Finally, you'll see the "Submit" option after clicking "Preview." This is how you can submit the form.
